COLLECTION: CROSS THE NORTHWEST
A collection to satisfy the climates of Northwest and Midwest. The pieces display contrasting colors while keeping the outwear formal. Implemented with a flannel, vest, and a pair of shorts.
IDEATION
I wanted to create a look that displayed multiple areas of top stitching and premium textures to achieve the formal look.
BILL OF MATERIALS
Sheets listing the materials needed to produce each garment.
TECH PACKS
Detailed illustrations of the three garments. I followed these guidelines of seam construction, and their respective dimensions during the production stage.
A sheet to meet the studio deadline and presentation from Hybrid Studio: Soft Goods Intensive II.
MUSLIN PROTOTYPES
I created a muslin garment for each piece of the collection to understand the construction and make any adjustments to the pattern for sizing and more.

Back of vest before topstitch.

Front pocket for vest 1/2.

Construction of back yolk and pleats to flannel.
FINAL PRODUCTION
Once the muslin prototypes were approved, I began the construction of the garments using the final materials and notions.

View of shorts before full assembly. Showing the topstitch of corduroy material against the cotton twill.

Sleeve placket on flannel before hem.

View of symmetrical pockets with hem. Using the same corduroy from shorts.
